Malcolm X is one of the most prominent faces of the civil rights movement in America. He was born on May 19, 1925, as Malcolm Little. He got his international recognition while advocating for the Nation of Islam, a Detroit-based political and religious movement. Malcolm was started as a renowned black empowerment activist.

Malcolm left a legacy behind. In 1964, the Civil Rights Act finally made it illegal to separate people in public places or discriminate against anyone based on their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. The lifelong fight of Malkolm and other activists like the great Martin Luther King Jr., whom Malkolm joined at a point, was finally won.
