Harper Lee was a novelist from the United States of America. Alabama-born Lee started her literary career in the 1960s and kept writing novels for over five long decades. She mainly wrote fiction. The novelist is best known for her 1960 published novel To Kill a Mockingbird. Over a million copies of the book were sold by 1970. Nelle Harper Lee was born on April 28, 1926. She attended the University of Alabama where she studied law but couldn't complete the degree.
